Christa Andersen was born and raised in Vancouver (and damn proud of it!).  She discovered at a very young age the need to create art, in as many forms as possible.  But it wasn't until high school that she realized acting was the key to her happiness and literally the only reason she survived school.  It became clear there was no other option but acting.  So she tried on a few different acting schools throughout Vancouver, but once she stepped through the doors of the William Davis Center, she has never left.  It has become her home, her oasis, her escape and her much needed therapy, thanks to Chilton Crane and the rest of her incredibly talented and supportive acting family. 

Her most recent work includes playing the lead in the upcoming web series, "The Last Fall of Ashes," written & directed by Aaron Wintringham.  She also recently played the lead in the independent feature film, "Underneath the Ash Tree," written & directed by Chris Nash.
